Why $29, and why not a subscription
This category already proved what a one-time archive is worth. Dewey sells a $50 export pass that is valid for 48 hours. Tweetsmash sells a $49 one-time export pass. People pay it, because getting your own writing back out is worth about that much.

There is no server to shut down. Your archive is files on your disk. If this product disappeared tomorrow, you would still have everything.
