Refund Policy

14 days, no questions asked
If MarkVault isn’t what you wanted, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
How to request one
Email support@markvault.app with the email address you used at checkout, or your order number. That is the whole process.
We reply within one business day. Once approved, the refund is issued by our payment provider to your original payment method — typically within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
What happens to your archive
You keep it. A refund revokes the licence, which turns off full-text search and the mining panels. Your archived bookmarks, the JSONL files on your disk, and full export all keep working — exactly as they do for every free user.
We do not delete, lock or hold your data hostage. We have no access to it in the first place.
Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance purchases. This policy is offered in addition to those rights and does not limit them.
Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, email us first — a refund is faster than a chargeback and we would rather just fix it.
